Barack Obama, the 44th President of United States of America, the first African-American leader of the strongest country in the world. One who is adamant, intelligent and thoughtful. A man with vision and guts.
It doesn’t matter to me what party or leader come to the power. It’s their deed and work that determine their quality, longevity and likeness. George W. Bush made lots of wrong decision in his times. War, Recession, Poor Foreign Relations, are few to be named.
I see every president of USA with hopes and expectations. Be it George W. Bush, Barack Obama or any other forthcoming leader, in the future. I will look at them with high regards, until they do great job for the country and their people.
Since Obama has been elected, he has bring many improvements, with criticisms intact. Various allegations have been made on him, some very nasty too. What I believe is, Popularity is insolent without bulk of criticisms. So, there you go, my dear critics!
I support Obama Administration, and I wish to see him being elected for the second time. Why don’t you feel the need to choose the right leader? Let me tell you something to let you reconsider your decision.
1. Ended War in Iraq and Ensured National Security
Many Critics and Gurus talked about it, but nobody could date to make it happen. War in Iraq has always been the pain in the Ass, after what we encountered in Afghanistan with Al Qaeda. The war, started by Bush in 2003, continued till the turn of the decade, with no sign of ending. Thousand of lives have been lost since the Iraq occupation. Many civilians as well as Marine have died. We were all excited at a time, when Iraq was prosecuted for having weapons of mass destruction and we supposed them to kneel down to the world order. At the end nothing came out of Iraq’s hole, until Saddam alone showed up from below it. Though a dictatorial administration got successfully demolished, people still suffered a lot, because the war was for the wrong reason. It did benefit for nobody.
Obama ensured that the troops will be decreased by the end of this year, and the Iraq occupation will be dismissed, handing down the remaining work to the locals. That’s the best assurance I can ever get, unless the next president, if a Republican, ceases the agreement.[Ref]
2. Created Jobs, Recovered Auto Industry and Economic Reformations
The Great Recession of 2008-2012. Millions of people lost their jobs. Modern America finally saw the darkest part of the their history, and the panic got best out of everyone. Wage Earners, White Collar Job holders, and even people from management got a pink slip. It was the bad time for economy. Auto mobile industries went out of production, banks and even larger corporations had to be bailed out. Obama helped adding back more than 4.2 million private sector jobs. till now.[See more:Employment Record Chart]
We saw, investments in Manufacturing Industry, US Auto Industry being rescued, National Export being promoted, Small Businesses being supported and genuinely offered Tax Cuts, Wall Street being reformed and Rights of the Consumers being stated back. What else did we wanted in last 20 years?[ref]
3. Promoted Equal Rights and repealed Don’t Ask Don’t Tell
Repealing DADT Policy was the best time for every LGBT living in America. Obama made it happen! Third Gender hasn’t has to lie about their Sex anymore, or to stop them from serving their country. America is a nation of free will, melting pot of different race and cultures, and rights to liberty.
Promoting women rights and Equal pay, Hate Crime commission act, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc
Even now, if Americans do not feel the right and need to elect a person who can make the changes happen, ensure progress and better things in life, then I don’t think we can ever see America advance to a newer and better world.[ref]
